Match preview: Liverpool Ladies face Chelsea cup test

Liverpool Ladies play their final game of 2017 on Sunday as they face an away trip to Chelsea in the quarter-final of the Continental Tyres Cup.

A place in the semi-finals of the competition is at stake as Scott Rogers' charges aim to put on a performance to remember against the Londoners.

Where is the game being played? The match is at the Kingsmeadow Stadium, with kick-off set for 2pm GMT.

How can I watch the game? We will have highlights on LFCTV in the coming week. If you are planning on going to the game ticket prices are just £3 for adults, £1 for juniors (U20) and £1 for seniors (over 65).

Last meeting: Back in October Chelsea beat the Reds 1-0 in the Women's Super League.

View from the manager, Scott Rogers

"We always knew whoever we got in the draw it was going to be tough, but it is a game we are more than capable of winning because we can beat anyone on our day. Chelsea are a fantastic side with some world-class players. They are not just one of the strongest women’s sides in our country but probably in Europe as well.

"It’s just making sure we can control the things we can control and get our performance right. Like anything in football you need that little bit of luck and you need it to go your way. I’m a strong believer in you earn your own luck and if we get our performance right then I’m sure we can get a positive outcome."
