Match preview: Ladies face Sunderland cup test

Liverpool Ladies are back in action on Tuesday night when they travel to Sunderland in the rearranged Continental Tyres Cup tie.

Saturday's scheduled fixture was called off due to a frozen pitch at Mariners Park.

Scott Rogers' charges have already sealed their quarter-final spot in the competition but will look to clinch top spot in their group.

Second-placed Sunderland, who are just a point behind the Reds, have also qualified for the knockout stage but pride is at stake at Mariners Park with the victors finishing top of the group.

Where is the game being played? The match is at Mariners Park, with kick-off set for 6pm GMT.

Last meeting: Back in October Liverpool Ladies came from a goal down to beat Sunderland 4-1 in the Women's Super League with Natasha Harding firing a hat-trick.
