"I thought we played really well against Everton and there were a lot of positives to take from our first game. Only one team wanted to win, I think that was quite evident, but credit to them because for large parts of the game they frustrated us. I always felt we had enough quality in the final third to win the game and thankfully we got the victory. Reading will be another tough test for us. They signed our former player Fara Williams so we know how much quality she has, and they have kept the core from the Spring Series which is a very good team."

"We were delighted to start our season with the three points against Everton, which I think we deserved. It was only our first game and there are definitely areas we can improve on but we can take a lot of confidence from winning a derby. Reading had a tough game in their last outing and were unlucky not to take any points against Sunderland, and I’m sure they will be looking to put things right against us. We’ve got to be prepared for that and put in another solid performance and send our supporters home happy."
