Salah's strike at Leicester up for Premier League Goal of the Month

Mohamed Salah's strike at Leicester City in February has been nominated for the Premier League's Goal of the Month award.

The Liverpool No.11 dispatched a pinpoint, first-time finish at King Power Stadium after an inventive flick from Roberto Firmino set him up.

Salah’s effort is on the eight-strong shortlist for the prize, alongside on-loan Reds forward Takumi Minamino for his dummy and goal in Southampton’s clash with Chelsea.

Also selected are Joao Moutinho (Wolverhampton Wanderers), James Ward-Prowse (Southampton), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Matt Lowton (Burnley), Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City) and Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace).
