Loan watch: Grujic helps Cardiff into second place

Marko Grujic started as Cardiff City moved into the Championship's automatic promotion spots with a 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough.

The Liverpool midfielder, who joined the Bluebirds on loan for the rest of the season in January, played for 71 minutes to help the Welsh club rise to second in the second tier.

Ryan Kent completed the full match as Bristol City were held to a 2-2 draw by Leeds United at Elland Road on Sunday, while Divock Origi's Wolfsburg were defeated 2-1 by Bayern Munich thanks to Robert Lewandowski's stoppage-time penalty.

On Friday, Harry Wilson was withdrawn with 55 minutes gone of Hull City's 4-0 FA Cup loss to Chelsea after sustaining an apparent shoulder injury in the process of winning a penalty for the Tigers.

Elsewhere, Corey Whelan started as Yeovil Town were beaten 4-1 by Stevenage and Matty Virtue featured as a substitute in Notts County's goalless stalemate with Newport County.

Pedro Chirivella, meanwhile, played as Willem II lost 2-1 to Ado Den Haag and Taiwo Awoniyi's Royal Excel Mouscron drew 2-2 with Waasland-Beveren.
