LFC donates kit to Sierra Leone school

Liverpool FC has provided a school in Sierra Leone with a selection of official kit for the pupils and their teachers.

The club sent the home strips and training gear to the West African country via charitable organisation Mission Direct, which is working to improve the facilities and learning environment at the overcrowded Saio Elementary Community School.

The school is located in Regent Village and provides education to over 225 local children, many of whom would otherwise be unable to attend school. The area was affected by the devastating mudslides and floods in August 2017.

Each year, LFC donates unused or surplus kit to charitable causes across the world.
