Mike Garrity changed his role to become U21s coach for the 2015-16 season.
He was previously responsible for the development of the 6 to 11 age range at the Academy and also worked as assistant manager to Neil Critchley with the U18s.
During his time with the club he has gained experience of working with all age groups, but after a restructure of the Academy operation in the summer of 2009, he was tasked with the responsibility of overseeing the 6 to 11-year-old boys range as well as being the lead coach for the U9s team.
"At this age you are looking for boys who show signs of potential," he said. "Can they pass and turn and do the fundamental things? Those are the qualities we are looking for.
"We have got some really good kids at the club at the moment and we'll make sure we keep developing them to help them achieve their potential."
