Andy O'Boyle joined Liverpool in the summer of 2011 as head of fitness elite development.
The Northern Ireland-born sports scientist moved to the Reds following a three-year period as fitness coach to Coventry City's first team.
Here he explains his role at the Academy:
"My job is to lead and co-ordinate the sports science and physical development within the Academy. In addition, I also have a responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the strength and conditioning programme for the club's Elite Development Squad."
