Jordan Rossiter is a promising and highly thought of young talent at Liverpool's Academy, who has graduated quickly through the club's youth ranks.
An authoritative central midfield presence, the young Scouser boasts an extensive passing repertoire with either foot and has an eye for goal too.
Having turned out for the Reds' U18s side and featured in the NextGen Series, it wasn't long before Rossiter was elevated to U21 level, where he settled immediately.
So much so that Brendan Rodgers regularly brought the youngster to Melwood for senior training sessions in 2013-14 and twice named Jordan on the first-team bench.
In March 2014, on the day of his 17th birthday, Rossiter signed his first professional contract at Liverpool, and now faces the challenge of fulfilling his abundant potential.
He took another step toward doing just that as he achieved a maiden appearance for the first team and marked it with a 30-yard finish when the Reds hosted Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup in September 2014.
An impressive season ended with injury, but the Scouser bounced back to feature in Brendan Rodgers' first-team squad for the 2015 pre-season tour of Bangkok, Brisbane, Adelaide and Malaysia.
