"I would rate Liverpool's 77/78 side as thebest I've seen. Unlike Barca it had any number of ways to play. Attack and defend (rarely) were equally as good. I'm sure a midfield of Case, Souness, Terry Mac and Razor would have made the current Barca side think long and hard about how to cope with them.
