This could, and should, be the start of something great for our wonderfull club. For the first time the fans really have a say where it counts and this is a great move by the club and Fenway in particular. Big respect has to go to our owners for their belief in our fans, the selection panel and all candidates. Now lets make it work! YNWA
"Congrats to all selected.I hope you do a good job. Just one thing I thought they wanted people representing a golbal Lfc support so why are 15 of the 18 from England."
"I great idea but looking at the names not totally representative. SOS vice chair on there, they do not represent all supporters even though they like to think they do. A member of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and the selection panel includes the head of the chamber of commerce, and an author of books about the club!"
""Congratulations to all members of the LFC Supporters Committee who have been duly elected. I think it is vitally imperative these new Committee members now unite and focus on attempting to reduce the costs of attending Anfield for ALL Liverpool FC supporters everywhere." "
"I really hope this works for supporters.
I have to agree with Liverpoolm about some of the selected posts though as it seems a bit like some were already rubber stamped by association and this doesn't look altogether an selection on merit. In addition to what liverpoolm said there's also someone who appears on \lfctv as well!"
"GKLong: my worry is SOS. Any organisation which has an organiser of Direct Action in their executive worries me. Especially with the now infamous youtube video of their end of season gathering. Having seen the problems caused by "tifosi" and 'ultra' groups in Italy I am of the opinion that fans should be very careful"
"Just to clarify: which representative would pull rank to deal with a grievance from a disabled, +60 yr old, ethnic-Indian who lives outside the Merseyside postcode yet is still an official LFC Member who attends away games, and is about to undergo a sex-change operation? :) #toomanycategories?"
"This committee could be good if thney are listen to by LFC. Good selection of members but I feel we should have had OLSC members from an English and Welsh and Scottish branch as well as a foriegn branch."
"i hope the selection was based on fair play and true representation of the fans. anyway, congrats to all selected and Karen gill as the first ever chairperson of the committee. best of luck. up Nigeria. YNWA"
"I think it time liverpoolfc look the direction of the Nigerian hitman Osaze Odewengie, i think he could make a perfect partnership with Suarez and Cuyt, with his pace, both legs, strength, skill, acuuracy with shot and goal sence. i think he is the kind of striker for us,"
"insted of going for Adam, i think we should settle for Raul and just Go for a fast winger like Nani or we can still take Stev to the flank since we have Aquilani back"
"happy new year for liverpool suporters and players ano managements we are very happy back of our heart key man steaven gerrard and i hope we shall win city the leader of leagua"
"happy new year all supportes players and managements we are very happy returning of our heart liver key man steavan gerrard and i hohe we shall beat the leader of leagua man city "
"Another message, can anyone answer my question please? How can I apply to get on this committee, as it has just changed and vacancies must have been created. Was this put to the vote, and who authorised any new members?"
