"Very good, i think India has got a lot of hidden football talents, since the sports isn't really popular there yet + very good for the marketing. Got to say, FSG really know what they're doing!"

"Excellent news for all the Liverpool fans in India. A proud moment. Surely my kid is gonna play here :) Not far away to see my favorite team visit our country for Pre-season match :) FSG know what they are doing for sure by tapping into a market where there are billion people and by coming first will surely increase the fanbase worldwide."

"This is great for marketing, but realistically, not a viable football strategy. Development wise, we need to form partnerships with lower division teams in Spain, Portugal and Brazil. And should set up academies in Africa, which wouldn't be good for marketing, but ideal for producing players."

"Tie up with a media giant like NDTV and hold nationwide trials to select 20-30 best players from various age groups.Would be huge for LFC presence in India.I hope we replicate something similar in South America and Africa too. "

"with more than a billion population, India can certainly produce a gem or two. What we certainly lacked is acceptance as a professional sport across society. With enhanced infrastructure and global exposure, certainly there's a Golden Sky. YNWA"
