If we grow on the pitch by winning, we will grow everywhere. Thats how Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd brands became more familiar. There is nothing equivalent to winning trophies. But credit must also go to the management for retaining our position in the top 10 clubs without CL football for 4 years...

"What we are doing in the commercial front is appreciable. But we must improve on quality of players signed. Say one suarez worth 25m is better than 4 players worth 10m each. In todays scenario, I won't accept the fact that we need CL to attract top talents. Ex: Falcao. There's nothing wrong in buying one or two players overpaying"

"ok so we are a global club , more income great, only thing is were is all the extra income going as it dont seem to be going on quality players, and i hear on news we are going to offer suarez a new improved contract , yet glen is going to be asked to take a cut ,that just dont sound right to me , "

"I will gladly pay for streaming live matches online (archived matches would be nice too). Please just give me a place to legitimately watch games online (in Canada)."

"I would be happy with simple addition of HD content such as first team games and highlights, it is almost 2014 you know ;) Also MORE LFC Ladies videos, at least 11 mins highlights would be also great! Thanks :)"

"VicksyG - Agreed on that too. Even good quality streams (not only those audio commentary) will be nice addition because not everyone have SkySport support in their country."

"Is this story for the fans or the sponsors? Not having paywalls around certain areas of the site would encourage a lot of people to come here.No one wants to pay for content when they don't know what it is. Please reinstate the Kop Blogs top 10 on the mainpage. The Kop is dying without the exposure.Oh yeah and world class players like Eriksen for peanuts would be a good idea too."

"If the REWARD of owning LFC - which is clearly defined in this statement of strategic intent, then why the RISK-AVERSE stance of investing (religiously) in young and talented, yet largely unproven personnel. The REWARD, quite clearly, is non-volatile future cash flows which should warrant current (NOW),medium to high level ivestment in player aquisitions. This is not the prevailing scenario."

"The BCG(Boston Consulting Group) Growth Share Matrix refers...it isn't rocket science but common sense..is my beloved LFC the 'cash cow' whilst the Boston Red Sox is the 'star'...I wonder."

"To move even further, we need a bigger capacity stadiaum. Which I think is progressing nicely. My take is we need to take baby steps towards being a champion. We need money. We cant squeeze from FG. We need to self sustain just like Arsneal. the other route is by tapping the riches from Asian countries.IMHO. "

"LFCalpha if you look at the growth share matrix then cash cow is low growth high market share, star is high growth high market share... If lfc revenue is growing its no cash cow, but you seem to forget we were about to go into administration a few years back.. I give credit to the owners because we are a question mark (high growth low share) at best..."

"Anka7a..low growth high market share is exactly where LFC falls into. This is driven primarily by historical supporters (both British & foreign) as opposed to new generations of global support. The new generation of supporters tend to gravitate towards Barcelona, Madrid, Chelsea and other teams comprising of 'superstars'. "

"My interpretation of Mr Ayre's statement is that FSG intends harnessing the clubs existing STRENGTH of global support - in an effort to cement SUSTAINABILITY - therefore the digital initiative to enable 200 million EXISTING fans to better interact with the brand. "

"Everything is relative Anka7a. You say that LFC is no cash cow now, but do you not agree that increasing revenue combined with intelligent & effective management of costs translates to an increase net cash resources (inflows). Surely this must be FSG's intention. "

"What is of great interest Anka7a is FSG's growth strategy in emerging economiies with football as a national sport. Nigeria - is Africa's largest democracy, highest populated and most probably highest consumer spending economy. Both Arsenal & Chelsea have made massive inroads in this region whereas the Liverbird is few and far apart. Growth??"

"Finally Anka07..I do appreciate a constructive debate, wanting to learn and improve all the time. However , your comment concerning my 'memory' is laughable and juvenile at best. As for public graude for saving LFC's hide..I'll exercise MY discretion on that one - it's called free will! YNWA"
