Happy birthday jonjo i think jonjo has the ability to become a top quality midfielder i see him being a better holding mid than attacking tho if he was to work on not diving into rash tackles as much he as all the attributes to become a really good rock in the midfield.id like to see BR try turn him into a more deaper lying mid.

"Keep working hard Jonjo, you have the tools to become a great player but like scotty says, only in a holding role. You are average in that final third and should leave that to the likes of Coutinho, Suso and Gerrard. "
"hope everybody involved (including himself)has patients with Jonjo, he reminds me of when Stevie was starting, head strong, confidant, rash, strong and afraid of no one, and with loads of ability, he's going to be a star, he can score goals but usually gets a rush of blood to the head, and misses, it will come for him soon. "
"Happy birthday Jonjo. For me, you will improve when you stick your substantial frame between the opposition and the ball more. Your strength should make you limpet like, never to be knocked off the ball. Your physical qualities should really allow you more time on the ball than you sometimes realise, which in turn should result in better passing and ultimately goals. "
"The lads still got a long way to go in terms of development. He's got a good all round game, whether it becomes a world class all round game remains to be seen. I like his desire to compete, but he lacks finesse and he is very rash in the tackle. Somewhat similar to how Gerrard was as a young man, but without SG's engine or range. "
"He has the same rash atudes of a young SG. He also has the great man's desire, passing range, shooting prowess and iness. What he lacks is his burst of pace, but more importantly, aside from SG, senior figures in the regular team to teach him. A young SG played in a better team and therefore could settle in leisure. "
