"I loved the champions league nights too but i remember being 2-0 down first leg to Auxure in the early 1990's, press said we had no hope but The Old Spion Kop was crazy that night, the french didnt know what hit them, they looked proper shocked! as they crumbled and lost 3-0. my head was banging for about 3 days after that!!! "All European nights at the best. Why are we not in the top four and entering next seasons ECL to enjoy the delights of the big boys coming to Anfield? Can anyone answer that question! It is a bit off that Man Utd have a game against RM at home and I am looking forward to it. Thirty odd chances against a weak Swansea and we only score five... Says it all. "

"10th April 1985- My first European night on the Kop with my late dad. We battered Panathaniokos 4-0. I was 10 years of age. My best childhood memory ever. Unbelievable feeling."

"I will go for Liverpool v Inter Milan,3-1,played in mid week after Liverpool won the FA Cup for the first time in 1965,before the game Shanks sent out Gerry Byrne who had broken his collar bone in the final and Gordon Milne who was injured to parade around the ground with the Cup,this got the crowd going and when Milan ran out towards the Kop they themselves and and ran to the other end"

"Chelsea 1-0 was hard to top but for me St Etienne was special as it was our 1st European Cup triumph. The green wigs of the french added to the mania. I was in the Anny Rd End by 5pm & the gates were locked by 6pm. The atmosphere was barmy, 5 of us along a barrier to start off with, but all over the place by the end. Met my mate at the bus stop, he had lost his shoes but who cared, we had won!!!"

"In answer to 'ToBeHonest's question, we are not in the CL because of two yanks, Hicks and Gillett who nearly ended our club for good. Read all about it and see for yourself. Maybe Mr Moores is accountable too, for selling to them."

"There can only be one! (Olympiakos) Im way too young to know anything about some of the others, I just remember going straight through the roof when Stevie hit that wonder goal in the dying minutes and it still brings a big smile on my head thinking back on it."
