I can only think the poor performance against WBA Monday night was the team had one eye on the Zenit game. Hoping to see a decent performance Thursday night against a decent side though not match fit could still make problems for LFC. A good result could help heal the wounds of Monday night.

"A good overview of the Luciano Spalletti charges. I just hope our poor performance against West Brom is due to the upcoming tie against the russian side. We have to play with more attention at the back otherwise it will be bitter pains for us yet tomorrow night! Please BR, play Carra and Skrtel as centre backs pairing, I ask you only this! YNWA Reds"

"Did we have a poor performance or poor result against West Brom? I thought the latter. An away win would be the perfect comeback, weren't we the first English team to win in the Ukraine around 2003/4? "

"Zenit are better known for all the wrong reasons. For the sake of our players and fans, I hope there aren`t any stupid shenanigans tomorrow."

"Hope it doesn't end like the West Brom game!"
