Look out for wilshere. He has more passion than quality which will drive him through. Our youngsters can learn a lot from wilshere - passion, dedication, playing for the shirt
"You sound worried Joe.Almost like you are conceding defeat. I feel you are lacking confidence at the moment.Hope you rediscover your form.Head down a4se up!"
"We need to play our own game and attack from the whistle, cant afford to play the ball in and around our own pen area, keep the play in there half and we will be ok YNWA come on you reds "
"Lucas should be able to deal with cazorla. You need to help him and be that link to the front we need plenty of key passes to the strikers. And ghost into positions to get more shots on goal. you should be ok as they don't play "rugby style". Good goal other day btw. keep it up! YNWA"
"Cazorla is quality and will have to be stopped but Wilshere is the main man! Hopefully a bit of physical presence with Lucas, Stevie & Hendo will overrun their midfield..."
"I think walcot will want to prove a point as he signed a new contract at the emerates. But despite this i am hoping and preying that we come out of the trapps at full speed and score early on before we take the foot of the pedal!"
"Arsenal are a strange team. On their day they are a match for anyone but they can also be upset very easily. This could well be an ideal time for us to play them, we're hurting and they may be over confident of gaining victory. "
"Sorry Joe but honestly i hope Hendo starts ahead of you. Unfortunately, u haven't been at ur best as of late, nd with Jordan's fantastic form at the moment, he shud get the nod"
"Stop Cazorla? easier to say than to make, but I don't think it will be the only player who will pose us a threat, don't forget Walcott, Wilshere, Arteta, Chamberlain, they are all a fearable and valuable menace for us. I am sure we will have to win the battle at the back to bring home something from the game. Give it all lads and play with hearth and for the shirt! YNWA"
"We talk too much and perform like last Sunday and start all over again, less talk more action and produce 6 points Arsenal and Sheikh Mansour City of Abu Dhabi then you can talk as loud as you want, no body will care. Come on Reds. YNWA"
"Too much talk by everyone, includ BR - berating guys in public - what is he on! Its Wilshire for me, he makes it all happen - u can learn from him Joe - boys need to take the game to Gunners from the whistle"
"It's not just one person we need to mark, they have a good set of players that can cause damage to any BPL team.
Cazorla, Wilshire, Walcott, Podolski, Giroud. They are the dangermen not just Cazorla, now if we want to win tonight we need these players to stand up & be men - Henderson, Borini, Sterling, Downing. I think 2-0 LFC (Suarez, Sturridge)"
"If we get people forward, unlike some games when there's only Suarez in the box, and we can disrupt their play (Joe, I'm thinking of you!) then that's a start. Do we go wide like arsenal or narrow to get inside them? We can get 3 points and have to just to be on the same points as them."
"Cazorla could have been our player if Kenny had listened to some of us, at the time Villareal wanted money and were willing to sell him but Kenny was keen to buy craps like Downing, Henderson, Adam, Carrol etc. The same mistakes Brendan is doing, we are just not lucky enough, all the managers we get seem not to know what they doing"
"Allen, first grow up - on the pitch then give your opinions. You got found out too easily, do something about it first. You are talking tactics as if you are a midfield general."
"I give up with Liverpool fans. We now officially have the most stupid fans in the world.. How many more times are our simpleton supporters going to order players to refuse interviews?? IT'S PART OF THEIR JOB TO BE INTERVIEWED. Otherwise there would be no content on this site and normal fans would wonder why the players don't ever say anything."
"I need to stay away from this site and just hang out with scousers in the city. I can feel my IQ lowering every time I see these stupid comments and ignorant opinions.. "
"Lol at the chumps dissing allen for doing too many interviews?? What are you people on? Do you think he called a press conference or something? He was asked to comment on the next match, what do you think he's gonna refuse to comment because hes out of form? That would help him win fans over right? Get real if you don't wanna hear what he has to say don't read it!!! Duh!!!! "
"As much as it pains me to agree with Seriously Grumpy Man, especially when he equates all his comments as being intelligent, but he has a point about players and interviews. What are they supposed to do? Refuse?Damned if they do damned if they don't. And you would think hanging out with Scousers would develop ones sense of humour. Just saying. "
"Was gonna follow up by saying it's in their contracts to do this pr stuff but smg beat me to it lol thanks bud, at least im not the only sane one left"
"The job he has been asked to do is the dirty midfield ticking over role which, for his young age, he has done very well. It isn't pretty to watch, but it was the same role lucas was asked to do at first and it took a while for him to bulk up and learn the role too."
"kingmat, you have got it spot on. He has been asked to play an unnatural role whilst we were waiting for Lucas to recover. He adapted somewhat but other teams have worked him out and now just sit on him. Once Lucas is fully integrated and Allen can push up, we will see him causing havoc with his slick passing. "
"Allen is too lightweight especially against a more physical and aggressive team, can't do any defending at all, maybe he is playing out of position but I do hope Allen would turn his game around or else he shouldn't be in Liverpool team."
"Arsenal like to play tippy tappy football. They don't like it when it gets physical or they have to deal with the long ball game. We could do with 4 Ruddocks at the back 4 Steve Mcmahons in midfield and an Andy Carrol up front tonight. "
