"For all those Michael Owen haters out there. As an FYI, he was pushed out by Houllier, along with Fowler, Heskey and McManaman, do some research and will find out also. I have just completed reading, over the past few years over 100 autobiographies from our past players and managers. The facts are outstanding reading. please do not comment blindly. Far too many do. "Firstly rainynovember, Kuyt was a workhorse and never gave up and he would've fitted in perfectly with Mr Rodgers team. Secondly ozyredno1, Owen left after Houllier left plus Houllier had nothing to do with Fowler leaving as he had the argument with Phil Thompson. PLus Heskey was falling down the wayside anyway."

"It would be a lot easier if we had to pick XI by position, too many great players at this club to satisfy every generation I fear. Callaghan most appearances and Liddell for loyalty as good as Kenny and Stevie G for example, and Elisha Scott was a fantastic keeper."

"So, ozyredno1 was Michael Owen forced by Gerard Houllier to betray all Liverpool fans by joining Man Utd. Also you should do some research as he left when Rafa was here. I would suggest you read them books again before coming on here with your smug Australian ways."
