Good, shows how bad he wants to come + cant afford to miss out on top talent. Especially as we were stupid enough to lose him in the first place. Want sneijder but can't see it unless Cole, Sahin + another decent earner (maybe coates loaned) leave. The wages we pay them could be used to bring in sneijder on an initial and then sign him if we rock up in CL next season. (An unlikely scenario)
"You know where you belong Thom, will be delighted to see you back then maybe Butland and our January business is done.Forget about those who say they want world class players, they are produced, we already have plenty recognized internationals. YNWA"
"So Ince Jnr and Snr engineerers a move away from Anfield and now they both want a move back to Anfield? Anyone else think that the money could be spent better elsewhere - Matt Phillips for example?"
"It was a stupid to let him go as he was one of our better young talents but I have to say I dont like the way his dad seems to be pulling his strings, Im pretty sure that it was his dad that engineered the move away coz he wanted more money and now he is doing the same thing! I do want him back at the right price and if he wants to come for football not cash!"
"he would be welcome and give us a boost to our wingers ranks freed up from the departure of Joe Cole today. £5-6m is a fair price but surely would not be a piece of business given that we let him leave two years ago for £250k!"
"This is bad business on our part! We sold him for 500 thousand quids and now we want him back for more than 5 million?! This should not have happened in the first place! There must be a more serious scrutinisation of our young talents before we sell them. Why not just loan them out instead?"
"Karimessex81, just so you know, Paul Ince never wanted Tom to leave Liverpool. it was poor management decision made by Kenny and i believe a sweetener for us to get Charlie Adam in... Liverpool need to find the money to buy some experienced players to go alongside these youngsters or risk not having players for them to learn from
"
"If the rumours can be believed then it shows how keen he is and that the minimum we require. It was a mistake to let him go in the first place but sometimes you need to look back to see what you had!"
"FORGET INCE AND GET WILFRED ZAHA!!!!I KEEP SAYING IT PLEASE BRENDEN DO THIS DEAL!!!FORGET SNIEDER ETC LETS BE REAL HERE.by the way aint it great that SHREK wont be in the starting 11 on the 13th:-)"
"5M or even less sounds about right for a player who is a free agent over the summer. Please make it happen BR. This will be the final piece of the jigsaw and we can 100% finish in the top 6 and who knows, maybe even push for 4th if possible. "
"redcrusader - Even without Rooney. They have RVP, Hernandez, Young, Valencia & Kagawa. It wont be easy, however with the right starting 11 we could beat them. "
"This could happen, however there is a couple of problems. Thomas Ince is enled to 10% of any fee recieved by Blackpool, Liverpool are enled to 35% of any fee over £250,000(which they sold Ince to Blackpool for). This reduces the funds Blackpool recieve. If Ince joins Liverpool for £6 million, Blackpool have to write Liverpool a cheque for £2.1 million, Ince gets £600,000. Is he worth buying?"
"Take him back if he really want to come and show his best.I hope some day we will see Leandro Damiao in our team.He is one of the worlds best player in decades."
"Maybe Ince should not have left LFC and I question the wisdom of re-signing any ex player. That said, if the manager believes this player can improve the team then that's what counts, for now. :)"
"4-6 million for Tom Ince is far to much,I reckon we should go all out to bring in Theo Walcott as our final signing before January window shuts. Sturridge Walcott Suarez up top is what most of us want to see.YNWA"
"Gemboy, Jezero and others who have got the facts wrong, Ince was out of contract and didn't want to sign the one we offered him as he wanted to play regularly. It wasn't a decision by Kenny or anyone else, to say that is untrue. We received compensation as we trained him as a junior. WE DID NOT SELL HIM!!!! "
"INCE LEFT US. Because he though he was better than he was and was enled to something he wasn't, and isn't, ready for. Plus it makes us look like mugs on the business side. I say forget Ince."
"I said we should give the kid a break. During Dalgish time, it would take an Ice Age to convince the manager that our Academy talents are ready. Nobody want to waste their youth and the only to prove that they are ready to compete in the league. That why he go to Championship to score to 13 goals and 10 assists. At least he is proactive. And kudos to Brendan, he give younsters a chance"
