I assumed this was just an ad for next year's kit - with Ian Ayre claiming they've made 20% off production costs and so we can all rejoice in FSG making a profit that never goes into the player acquisition kitty. Didn't buy this yr for first time in decades because FSG aren't investing in players. I was right. Summer £2m. January - who knows? Some 3rd rate player on loan probably.
"Shoops77, how can you say FSG don´t invest? They spent 50 mill last summer. This summer was always going to be about balancing the budget. This transfer window will however be an indicator on their willingness to back Brendan. But stop complaining, and use your energy to support the team. "
"The European economic situation would have added to your not buying our kit. If i were to be around UK i wouldn't be missing it season in season out.
When they spend heavily in bring this Newcastle flop you were happy now they decide to tread the path of caution you moan. We should just spend all because others are spending. Now tell me those who does so are they better off.

"Shoops77: FSG did back Kenny to the brink. Its sad that Kenny's buys haven't really worked excepting for Saurez and Jose Enrique.... But that doesn't mean FSG haven't done their bit.
We're LFC. We support the team irrespective of who the owners are!!! "
