We are by far superior to Southampton, but just one voice is pretty similar, the goals scored which are really few for both sides. Anyway we are a better side in terms of ball retention, duels won, passes completion and so on, but the game should be difficult at least like that against Wigan. I expect a really difficult first half.
"Should be difficult enough going by stats only but I think we'll break them down more easily in the second half and a late goal or two should seal the win. These are the teams we need to start getting points against but regardless, I'll still offer my full support! Keep it going - we're getting there."
"Rodgers seems to have forgotten that Carragher can play left-back. Downing ed it for Lennon's goal last match. I think that back four with Carra in it would have a much safer look about it. It's not only his defensive qualities either. Check out Jamie's distribution stats for the season so far."
"Third of the season gone and we are only 4 points above the r-zone. That's a disgrace, even with the system change and other excuses. We have been unlucky, getting a defensive midfield obsessed manager. The game is about goals, goals come from attack, we need an attacking goals obsessed manager."
"Hello Opta.. I can give some statistics before the game starts against the Saints:
LFC:
Possesion - 70%
Backward pass: 50%
Sideway pass: 40%
Forward pass: 10%
Time inside own half: 60 minutes
Score:
LFC 1 (by Suarez) and Southampton 1
