"i hope the win against wigan was a real turning point 4 us. i hate to think of us losing n drawing all over again. i was thinking if benitez bcomes of chelski he miht do us a favor n sell sturridge for a lower price. i know loves lfc alot n he wouldnt mind helpng us out even if its from a different team."

"After an understandably shakey start to the season, we are now 7 games unbeaten in the PL & continue to play attractive football. We're way off our best, but hasn't he (BR) done well with what he was left with. Young & untested in such a big job, he's learnt fast & got the supporters on his side. Thank God we don't have Abramovich as an owner."

"With such a thin squad, BR has somehow managed to create competition for positions within the team. If all the hype the owners are creating for Jan come to fruition, then we will be on our way to building a formidable team. You have my patience BR & LFC will always have my support."

""We're near where I want us to be, but what we're installing is a mentality and resilience in the group - which will provide a real foundation for us going forward. I believe that in the second half of the season we will become stronger and better". Those lacking in patience need to absorb this comment. It has been frustrating on occasion but we will eventually turn the corner! "

"Actually Buck we aren't anywhere near where we want to be. Left and right backs aren't scoring. Midfielders aren't scoring, wingers aren't scoring, Boris the striker wasn't scoring and nothing from corners and crosses. No Louie, no Louiepool doesn't cut it over the journey. "

"Hands up who thinks Luis Suarez should get The Balloon D'Or? It's unlikely we are gonna get Torres now, now that Rafa is his Boss again, he fretted when Rafa got sacked at Anfield remember. "

"Cowboy owners sacking managers months after a cup win! Thank god we haven't got owners like that. Oh hang on a minute, my memory's got very muddled.only joking - I think were defo going in the right direction with BR."

"KINGOFCLUBS: Agree with what you say. We are a couple of good signings away from being in the driving seat again. 1 Striker and an attacking midfielder who scores 20 plus goals. Next summer is the real transfer window and if we can get 4th then we will have a lot more choice of players to go for.YNWA"

"I think some idiots have taken his quotes out of context. "were near where i want to be" obviously highlights the European places which are like 9 points away. Cant wait till Jan!!!"

"The real idiot said that we are 9 points away from European places. What about we are 6 points away from the relegation places? As the 9 is bigger than the 6 it means you genius that we are nearer to relegate than to qualify to the CL. "

"Nothing much to say. Just qualify for next stage in Europa, improve standings in PL and win more games with every players scoring. Otherwise, forget about challenging top teams!"

"To those who say we are nowhere near where we want to be you do BR a great diservice, what he is saying is that the young players now have a winning mentality and this in Football is the hardest thing to instill.Football wise we are improving week by week and we are scoring goals and not conceeding , am I missing something?"

"Presumably we can expect to see Chelsea going backwards as they become' a team in transition' under their new manager just like we have, giving us the opportunity to maybe catch them, especially as we are nearly as good as Brendan expects us to get."

"We are improving. The negative comments on here reflect what fickle people fans are. The players now have a 'winning' mentality and as time goes by were are returning to our former glory. If you climb a ladder, you have to use the lower rungs!"

"I am just so disappointed by some idiots who come out here and say ... if you are that good at coaching, you should get a barge and manage. and forget coaching, if u're that good at what you do, then the world should know you for it already.look at spurs with the team they have and money and see. I support BR 100% "

"To know if we are improving or not, you have to compare our current results and position with an old one. So tell me with which year results you are comparing us that make you find out that we are improving??! Even Hodgson, the worst LFC reign that i can remember, has had better results with worst players."
