People say he can play for another 3 years easy, well I think he can play till he's 40 years old! Why not, if he adapts his game and doesn't run as much, he can, he's one old the best passers in the world! Scholes is still doing it, he's late 30s! YNWA
"think that Steven is absolutely the best English player of his generation, last decade, for me he could play at least for other 4 years and why not trying after the next european championships to prolong his career and enter in the 40s still as a LFC player... dream brings well and luck after all...YNWA SG"
"Molby's typing finger finally got tired and Souness jumps of the bench. We look at Stevie and he looks the same, but something is missing. Obviously youth. Some say the system doesn't suit, who knows? But for me it was last year as well, after the injury."
"At 32 he still has the ability and physique to play in the complete midfield role he has done for his career.
In five years time he may not have that physique but he will adapt, legends like him always do. Barnes did it, Dalglish did it."
"Not just the best of the last decade Souey, Stevie is the best England has ever had. He's in a class of his own. The great Zidane called Stevie the best player in the world. "
"yes technically the best midfield player ever in england people talk of scholes n lamps and giggs, great players but gerrard does have the edge on these players cos there not technically as good
