I wish he could be sold permanently-the obvious would be to West Ham.Unless he'd accept A 70% DROP IN SALARY

"I would give him a chance this coming season. After a good season in France and a good pre-season under the new manager, I'm sure we'll see the best of him again."

"No thanks Joe, I really think all you burn for is your 90k a week. KD done the right thing by trying to ship the likes of you, aqua, & jova out, who were on bloated wages & not here for the love of LFC!"

"I THINK WE SHOULD RE ASSEMBLE THE WHOLE SQUAD,INCLUDING OUR LOAN OUTS AND SEE WHAT WE CAN PICK OUT OF IT FOR NEW SEASON, INSTEAD OF LETTING GO TO HASTILY..ARE WE NOT STIL PAYING COLES WAGES WHEN IN FRANCE? THINK SO, SO MAKES NO DIFFEERENCE.."

"Regret to think that signing Joe Cole on a free transfer was a mistake and I hope he will find a club on permanent basis soon and the scenario now who is going to pay him LFC wages so if really he wants to play football he should be open to a compromise and not rely on LFC to meet his demands in full."

"There is still the Aquilani situation dragging on AC Milan want to sign him but for a lesser transfer fee because in their opinion Alberto did not play 25 matches for them only 23 anyhow I hope all will be resolved soon because contrary to some LFC fans thoughts Aquilani prefer to stay in Italy and not return I repeat return to Anfield. "Personally he's a player I like, he did well at Lille and he's relatively young, but I think that the new course at LFC and the new manager will not consider players like him and Aqua in his future plans, thus perhaps it could be better to change..."

"LFC signed his contract aswell as him so we have to pay his wages or sell him! We may as well give him a chance as he got off on the wrong foot with us, having that red card on his debut, the could never get going. He is a very good player and better than most that we have (adam hendo spearing and co)."

"he needs to realise that he can no longer command the salary he had so any re-negotiation of his contract should factor that in. If he persists in demanding a high salary then it's goodbye I'm afraid. He needs to get real. In his interview on sky he kept talking about returning to London! West Ham it is then!"

"wish we had not lent him out could have been doing with him, instead of that turkey jay spearing, still cant believe he played in an fa cup final he would nt be worthy of a league two play off final.."

"He would say that though, as he needs to incase he stays here. He has said the same to Lille fans, that he hopes the move is permanent and he stays there, if he ends up going to West Ham for example, he'll tell them it was always his first team and he wished he never left despite winning league les"

"Hot off the press up here in the NW- expect an announcement on a naming deal for Anfield for next season onwards..... I totally support the impending Brendan Rodgers announcement. IMO this guy is a top top coach who is spending 3 days with Spains Euro training camp off his own back. He really impresses me. I hope it's concluded as expected by Friday."

"the problem with totally inexperienced managers like Brendan Rodgers is come November after 3 losses in row it will be a case of "You don't know what you are doing". Sooner or later though, we will have to accept we are a bona fide mid table club under FSG, with our glory days are behind us. "
