Stadium Tour

Due to the exciting developments that are taking place to expand the Main Stand, this is your last chance to see the original dressing rooms, player's tunnel and Manager's dug out before the Stadium Tour ends on Sunday 17th May 2015. 

Our most popular tour – seize your opportunity to gain exclusive behind-the-scenes access to one of the world’s sporting cathedrals, Anfield Stadium, soaking up the peerless heritage of one of England’s most successful Football Clubs. 

You’ll start your tour at the Shankly statue before moving onto the exclusive Legends Lounge. From here, you will visit the press room where Brendan Rodgers and the team come under the spotlight of the world’s media. Next, you will visit the player’s dressing rooms where your heroes prepare themselves for the big game. Follow in the footsteps of the players as you touch the famous ‘This is Anfield’ sign before walking out the tunnel to the sound of a roaring crowd. You will then sit in the manager’s dugout before finally moving on to the world famous Spion Kop. 

At each stage of your tour you will get expert insight into the Stadium and Club from one of our friendly and knowledgeable tour guides. You will also have the opportunity to take your own photographs and ask any questions you may have. 

As part of your visit, you’ll also experience The Liverpool FC Story, the Club’s interactive museum. Here, you’ll explore football through amazing exhibitions such as the Halls of Fame, a dedication to LFC heroes, past and present, and see the silverware, including all five European Trophies, won by LFC during its impressive career. 

To enhance your visit, every visitor is provided with a multimedia handset which offers a personalised 40 minute commentary by LFC Legend, Phil Thompson, who shares his experiences of starting off as a fan right through to being the Club’s manager. 

For younger fans, there’s low-level fascinating facts from official Club mascot mascot, Mighty Red, and interactive activities on the handset including a penalty shoot out game at the European Cup final. 

Please note: the day before non-televised games, we are unable to visit the home team dressing room due to operational reasons. The away team dressing room will still be available for viewing as normal.

Tour routes are subject to change depending on stadium maintenance works.

Matchday Tour

Due to the exciting developments that are taking place to expand the Main Stand, this is your last chance to see the original dressing rooms, player’s tunnel and Manager’s dug out before the Matchday Tour ends on Sunday 17th May 2015. 

Feel the excitement and anticipation behind the scenes as the Reds get ready to play. 

You’ll start your tour at the Shankly statue before moving onto the player’s stadium entrance. From here you will walk down areas restricted to the general public. You’ll stand next to the interview board area, where the teams reflect on the match after the game.

Follow then in the steps of your heroes as you touch the infamous ‘This is Anfield’ sign before walking out the player’s tunnel just hours before the first team do. You will then get to see the manager’s dugout where Brendan himself will be watching the game unfold just hours after you. Finally, soak up the pre-match atmosphere in the world famous Spion Kop.

The Matchday Tour duration is approx. 45 minutes.

Take a tour of Anfield Stadium with an LFC Legend as your guide. This nostalgic stadium tour takes you behind the scenes with insights and dressing room tales as told by the Legends themselves. The perfect gift for an avid fan. 

Your friendly and knowledgeable guide will start your tour at the Shankly statue before moving onto the exclusive Legends Lounge where you will meet your chosen LFC Legend.

Let the kids enjoy all the excitement of our Stadium Tour, plus a visit from LFC’s official mascot, Mighty Red. 

Mighty Red wants to help you find out what makes LFC the greatest footballing family in the world so has put together a special quiz with prizes to be won.

Perfect for those just wanting a photo opportunity of the pitch, this shortened tour takes you to the Spion Kop only at a great price. 

We offer these reduced tours, to avoid the installation of cameras and other equipment, in the build-up to televised games.

As part of your visit, you’ll also experience The Liverpool FC Story, the Club’s interactive museum. Here, you’ll explore football through amazing exhibitions such as the Halls of Fame, a dedication to LFC heroes, past and present, and see the silverware, including all five European Trophies, won by LFC during its impressive career.

The award-winning Beatles Story experience is an atmospheric journey into the life, times, culture and music of the Beatles. Join us on a magical mystery tour to see how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to the dizzy heights of worldwide fame and fortune to become the greatest band of all time.
