An appearance for Kearns on Saturday would bring up the milestone of 100 games for the club.

In the corresponding fixture of last season, the Reds were 2-1 winners at Prenton Park. Natasha Dowie and Kearns scored the goals.

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last five Women’s Super League matches (three wins, two draws), their longest run without defeat in the competition since May 2017 (a run of six).

The Reds’ 25 goals in the Women’s Super League this season have been scored by 13 different players. Only Chelsea (16), Arsenal (14) and Manchester United (14) have had more different scorers in the competition in 2023-24.

So far this term, Beard’s side have won all four home league games in which they have taken the lead, and eight out of 10 overall.

City have won each of their last 11 WSL matches, with this run seeing them score three or more goals on six separate occasions.

The visitors have conceded just 11 goals this season in the league, three fewer than any other team. City have only conceded more than one goal on one occasion, a 2-1 defeat away at Arsenal in November.

Gareth Taylor’s team have yet to concede a headed goal in WSL fixtures this term.
