Oldham have asked for volunteers to help maintain the Boundary Park pitch ahead of this weekend's FA Cup clash with Liverpool.
Heavy snow and ice in the region have prompted concerns that the match may not go ahead and the club are looking to strike early with preventative measures having posted an appeal on their official website.
The statement read: "Latics are looking for volunteers to help ensure Sunday's FA Cup with Budweiser, fourth-round tie against Liverpool goes ahead.
"They need help throughout the week to clear snow from inside Boundary Park and also the approaches to the ground.
"If you have free time, simply turn up at the ground."
