Valencia will do battle with Liverpool to sign Chelsea starlet Thorgan Hazard on loan next season.
talkSPORT told you on Wednesday that the winger, who is the younger brother of Chelsea's first-team favourite Eden, is not likely to figure in Jose Mourinho's immediate plans and will be sent out on loan for the third season in a row following two stints with Belgian club Zulte Waregem.
It is believed rivals Liverpool could try to land him on a short-term deal but sources in Spain claim that Valencia have joined the race for his services.
The 21-year-old, who scored 14 times last season, admitted in April that he would prefer to further his development in the Premier League or in the Bundesliga but Valencia will be hoping he's open to a switch to La Liga too.
