Paris Saint-Germain and Italy goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu insists he has not talked to international team-mate Antonio Candreva about the possibility of the Liverpool target joining him in the French capital next term.
Liverpool want the Lazio winger, who produced a superb display for his country against England on Saturday night and set up the winning goal for former Manchester City hitman Mario Balotelli.
The 27-year-old, who is also coveted by PSG and Juventus, gave his suitors hope earlier this week when he revealed his desire to play Champions League football and admitted he will consider his future after the World Cup.
However, Lazio president Claudio Lotito has also insisted the player is not for sale this summer.
French champions PSG have three representatives in Italy's World Cup squad and one of them, goalkeeper Sirigu, is adamant he has not tried to persuade Candreva to join him at the Ligue 1 heavyweights.
He said: "Candreva and PSG? I have not discussed this possibility with him. I just read that he could transfer to us (PSG). If he asks me I will give my opinion on the club and the environment in general."
