Nicolas Gaitan's agent says the winger's future is up to Benfica amid reports of interest from Zenit Saint Petersburg in the Liverpool and Manchester United target.
The 26-year-old has just completed his fourth - and most successful - season at Benfica, scoring eight times in all competitions as he helped the Lisbon giants clinch a domestic treble and reach the Europa League finals.
United and Liverpool have both kept tabs on him for the past few seasons - indeed the Old Trafford side came close to signing him in 2012 - but Russian moneybags Zenit are also keen on him too.
The Argentinian's representative Jose Iribarren admits several teams have contacted him to discuss the player's availability in recent years but insists Benfica will have the final say over his future.
He told TMW: "Future? We have talked to many people in recent years about Gaitan, but at the moment he is a Benfica player, and only the club can make a decision on the future of a player. If we receive an offer we will evaluate it."
