Sky Sports understands Liverpool have taken non-league hot-shot Daniel Carr on trial as they weigh up a move for the striker.
Carr has been earning rave reviews for his performances for Dulwich Hamlet this season and he has scored 23 goals in 23 games for the Ryman Football League outfit.
The 18-year-old, who was a member of the Reading Academy, has been a revelation since switched from a winger to a striker for Dulwich Hamlet.
A number of Premier League and Championship clubs are thought to be tracking Carr, but Liverpool have pounced to offer the teenager a trial at Anfield.
Liverpool have now invited Carr to Merseyside for a training stint so that the club's coaching staff can cast an eye over him and see if he impresses.
