Benfica coach Jorge Jesus has confirmed that Liverpool are interested in striker Rodrigo.
As revealed by Mirror Sport this week, the Reds are looking to make a big-money move for the 23-year-old, with the fee thought to be around £25m.
Brendan Rodgers is preparing for life in next season's Champions League and the forward has caught his eye this season.
Rodrigo has scored 10 goals in his last 16 appearances including a strike in last week's 3-1 win against Tottenham at White Hart Lane, and his boss has revealed that there is interest from the Anfield club.
The Aguilas coach said: "Rodrigo is going through a good moment. It's normal. Every Benfica player is in a big window.
"The league is full of high quality players so it's normal for other clubs to be interested."
