Liverpool are closing in on Adam Lallana's £25million capture from Southampton.
Talks between the Reds and Saints have moved quickly after negotiations were resumed this week and they have finally agreed a fee.
Southampton have accepted that their captain wants to leave and are keen to move on now that they have appointed Ronaldo Koeman as boss.
The South Coast club have also given up on the idea of trying to squeeze more money out of Liverpool after Lallana had an indifferent World Cup.
Liverpool have never given up on Lallana, despite Saints' opposition, and will be pleased to land the England midfielder.
Lallana is now believed to be having his medical at Melwood and the deal could be completed today.
