Liverpool still haven't reached an agreement with Sevilla over left-back Alberto Moreno, according to the Spanish club.
Mirror Football understands that Moreno will complete a £14million move to Anfield this week, but only after playing one final game for the Spaniards, against La Liga rivals Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup in Cardiff on Tuesday.
Sevilla club president Jose Castro is continuing to play his cards close to his chest, and has told Spanish newspapers that while there have been negotiations, there remains no deal.
"There has been a negotiation [over Moreno] 10 days ago but no agreement," said Castro.
"It depends on them. I have said the price is set by us. If they pay the amount in a timely manner a deal will go through, and if not he will remain."
