Inter Milan could be set to rival Liverpool in the chase for Arsenal's Bacary Sagna.
The French defender is likely to end his seven-year stay in North London in the summer when his current contract is up.
Kop boss Brendan Rodgers has been credited with an interest in snapping him up. But reports in Italy suggest the Nerazzurri could join the race for his signature.
The 31-year-old has been a valuable cog in the Gunners machine for a number of years, making over 200 appearances for Arsene Wenger's side.
Wenger is eager to keep Sagna, but the former Auxerre man wants a three-year extension while only a two-year deal is currently on the negotiating table.
Inter have been busy in the Bosman market already - they are widely expected to seal a summer swoop for Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic.
And Gazzetta dello Sport report they could now turn their attention to Sagna as they look to add some experience to their ranks next season.
