The chase for Swansea left back Ben Davies is hotting up after Tottenham reportedly had a £10million offer accepted.
Liverpool are also very keen on the 21-year-old Welsh international and had £8m offer knocked back earlier this week.
The Telegraph reports that Brendan Rodgers is prepared to go in again having heard of Spurs' interest.
Davies is set to be withdrawn from Garry Monk's squad to face Chivas Guadalajara on Wednesday night as speculation mounts over his future.
It is believed Davies is keen to see what Rodgers and Co. have to offer if they match the Swans valuation.
The Reds have spent freely this summer already but the left-back position remains a problem.
Sevilla's Alberto Moreno was thought to be Rodgers' top target but they have since balked at the La Liga club's £18m valuation.
