Loic Remy is nearing a move to Liverpool as he undergoes a medical in Boston, where the Reds are currently based for pre-season.
The QPR striker is set to leave Loftus Road with a deal expected to be completed in the coming hours, as he moves to Anfield for around £8.5m.
The French international spent last season on loan in the Premier League with Newcastle, where he scored 14 goals for the Magpies.
His impressive displays led to enquiries from both Arsenal and Tottenham, but despite the Gunners maintaining their interest for some time, Remy will be playing in a Liverpool shirt next season.
The 27-year-old is expected to pen a five-year deal with the Reds and will follow Emre Can, Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Lazar Markovic to Anfield this summer.
