Liverpool are reportedly in pole position to sign PSV's teenage star Zakaria Bakkali amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Valencia.
The 18-year-old - whose contract at PSV expires in 2015 - is believed to be unhappy at the Eredivisie side and has asked for reassurances about his role in the team before committing himself to the club.
With Bakkali delaying a decision about his future, PSV are now thought to be willing to listen to offers for the the Belgian sensation and, according to Dutch publication Sport Magazine.be, Liverpool are favourites to land the player.
Bakkali - who has been used as a left-sided winger in the Netherlands - is also being tracked by Tottenham and Valencia, but, the magazine claims that the Reds are the only club that would be ready to pay the £6.3m fee that PSV want for the player.
Bakkali burst onto the scene last season at the age of 17 and made an instant impression when he scored in his Champions League debut before netting a stunning hat-trick in PSV's 5-0 demolition of NEC.
