Liverpool will '1000 per cent' make a new offer for Yevhen Konoplyanka at the end of the season, according to his club Dnipro.
The Reds were chasing 24-year-old Konoplyanka before the close of the January transfer window, with Brendan Rodgers making him his top target.
The transfer failed to go through before the deadline, but amid suggestions that Rodgers will try again for the player in the summer, Dnipro's chief director Andriy Rusol says he is expecting business to be done at the end of the campaign.
"There was no time to organize the technical transfer," he said.
"Yevhen's all ahead now. If he continues to train the same and play the way he plays, it's just a matter of time before he moves to a good European club.
"I'm 1000 per cent sure that Liverpool will attempt to buy Yevhen again in the summer. And, after this experience, the dealings are more likely to success."
