Liverpool have reportedly made a £9.8m bid for highly-rated Belgium and Lille forward Divock Origi - and are already in the process of agreeing personal terms with the player's representatives.
The 19-year-old is a target for several Premier League sides after impressing with the Red Devils at the World Cup, and scored the only goal in Belgium's 1-0 win over Russia on Sunday which booked the team's place in the knock-out stages of the tournament.
Liverpool are hoping that their £9.8m fee for the forward, along with their offer of loaning Origi back to Lille for next season, will secure the youngster's signature ahead of Arsenal and Tottenham.
Should he complete the move to Brendan Rodgers' side this summer, Origi would join new signing Rickie Lambert at the Anfield outfit as Liverpool look to bolster and enhance their squad ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
