Liverpool are keen on Hamburg's South Korea forward Son Heung-min.
The 20-year-old has started the season well with the Bundesliga outfit and can play either on the wing or up front.
Liverpool are in desperate need of firepower with Luis Suarez the only proven top-class forward available to boss Brendan Rodgers. Fabio Borini, a £10million summer signing from Roma, has not yet found the net in the Premier League.
