According to the Guardian, Brendan Rodgers is set to bolster his Liverpool roster with the loan signing of Atletico Madrid's Javier Manquillo.
With Anfield welcoming back Champions League football for the first time since 2009 next season, the Reds are keen to strengthen their squad as much as possible, and thus, plan to take the 20 year-old on loan next season with the view to a permanent deal.
Having represented Spain at every level from the U20s downwards, Manquillo is highly-rated in his home land.
But as Rodgers counts the pennies of Luis Suarez's £75million move to Barcelona, Manquillo will unlikely be the Mersey outfit's final acquisition of the summer.
