Swansea have made contact with Liverpool and Tottenham after relaxing their stance over Wilfried Bony.
The south Wales club were previously insisting that Bony's £19m release clause be met if he was to leave the Liberty Stadium this summer.
That fee had previously scuppered chances of a move to Liverpool to Spurs, but reports suggest that Swansea have reconsidered their stance.
Garry Monk has tried to persuade the Ivory Coast international to stick around with the promise of making him an even better player.
But it seems that Bony has made up his mind to move on and told the Swans he wants to move to a bigger club.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins hinted last week that Bony would ideally like to play Champions League football next term, but he may not have that option.
It is thought that Liverpool have moved on from Bony and are now looking at other targets, including Paris Saint-German's Ezequiel Lavezzi.
And with Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal all also thought to be out of the running, Bony may have to settle for a move to Spurs.
It now remains to be seen just how far Swansea are willing to drop the asking price and whether Tottenham, Liverpool or any other clubs can be enticed back into the race for the player.
