Liverpool are set to complete a hat-trick of summer signings by moving for Chelsea target and Benfica star Lazar Markovic after tying up a deal for Lille's Divock Origi, and Southampton star Adam Lallana.
The Serbian is rated at £25million by the Portuguese side, and Brendan Rodgers is keen to add him to the ranks at Anfield.
Markovic is a versatile winger who is known for his incredible turn of pace and eye for goal, and the 20-year-old will surely provide Rodgers with a great amount of options as he looks to challenge for the Premier League title once again.
The signing of Markovic in the coming days will be the icing on the cake for the Kop faithful after the news that Saints skipper Adam Lallana was on the verge of completing his highly anticipated switch from the south-coast club.
Lallana's agent has confirmed that the 26-year-old has agreed personal terms with Liverpool, and the transfer should be announced tomorrow.
Rodgers has also moved quickly to secure the services of Belgian prodigy Origi, who has starred for his country at the World Cup in Brazil.
The 19-year-old will be loaned back to Lille for the next season, with the signing set to be confirmed shortly.
The highly-anticipated trio will take Liverpool's summer signings up to five, with Rickie Lambert from Southampton and Emre Can from Bayer Leverkusen already in the bag.
