Liverpool and Arsenal will have to fend off the advances of Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona to land Argentinian international Marcos Rojo.
Reports claim that the 24-year-old will look to leave Sporting Lisbon in the summer, with a host of sides desperate for his signature.
Rojo has had an impressive campaign for the Portuguese club, helping them secure a second-place finish ahead of perennial champions Porto.Argentina manager Alejandro Sabella has included Rojo in his provisional 26-man squad for next month's World Cup finals.
He is joined by established names such as Pablo Zabaleta; Ezequiel Garay and Martin Demichelis at the heart of Argentinian's defence.Rojo, who can play centre-back or left-back joined Lisbon for £3.5million from Russian side Spartak Moscow in 2012.
But with so many clubs involved in the hunt for his services, it's almost certain that the Argentine will be sold for considerably more.
