Liverpool have dispatched scouts to Australia to watch talented winger Marco Rojas in action for Melbourne Victory.
The Reds along with Serie A giants Juventus, will run the rule over Rojas, who is exciting clubs across Europe.
Brendan Rodgers already has a devastating young winger in Raheem Sterling, but he is keen to bring in some fresh faces before the transfer window closes.
Although Rojas is on course to win the double with Melbourne, Liverpool feel a move to the Premier League could enhance the winger's reputation.
The International Business Times states that Liverpool could snap up Rojas for as little as £500,000.
They also state that Liverpool and Juventus could table a bid for Rojas next week.
Rojas has been in free-scoring mode for Melbourne Victory, netting 10 times in 15 matches for the club this season.
Rojas' contract runs out in three months, which coincides with when the A-League season finishes.
