Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are looking to hijack Manchester United’s bid for Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw.
The two teams are eyeing both Lallana and Shaw who are set to quit St Mary's this summer after Moyes lined up a double bid before his sacking last week.
Liverpool boss Brandan Rodgers is determined to strengthen his squad after qualifying for the lucrative Champions League next season and will be given money to spend on good young players.
Tottenham are keen on them after missing out on the Champions League after the vast majority of the signings they made after the sale of Gareth Bale last summer failed to hit expected heights.
Lallana and Shaw have both made their England bows this season and have been in exceptional form for Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Shaw, 18, has been nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award while Lallana, 25, is on the short list for PFA Player of the Year.
