Jack Dunn marked his Liverpool Under-21s debut with the winner as they beat Wolves 2-1 at Telford.
The 18-year-old from Wavertree, who has been in fine goalscoring form in the FA Youth Cup, grabbed his chance to shine for Alex Inglethorpe's side.
The Reds fought back after falling behind inside two minutes. Sam Winnall laid the ball off to Robbie Parry, whose shot from the edge of the box crept past Peter Gulacsi and into the far corner.
On the half hour mark Ryan McLaughlin was upended after a surging run into the penalty box and skipper Conor Coady equalised from the spot.
Jonathan Flatt parried away Dunn's 20-yarder and after the break Nacho was thwarted by the home keeper.
However, Liverpool continued to press and finally got their rewards. Dunn burst on to Nacho's defence-splitting pass and slotted home in style.
