Daily Mail: Reds bid for Inter star

Liverpool have launched an £8million bid for Inter Milan's Brazilian youngster Philippe Coutinho.

Sportsmail revealed their interest in November and that they were among clubs interested as Southampton made an offer earlier this month.

The 20-year-old Coutinho fits the profile of Liverpool's owners Fenway Sports Group, as a young and emerging international player although he has struggled for form this season.

Club chairman Tom Werner is in Liverpool ahead of the weekend's fixture with Norwich and spent Friday in discussions about potential transfers.

I think this will be a better signing than that greedy SNEIJDER this guy is world class and he will be a lot cheaper.
