Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge is set to hold talks with Liverpool and is expected to agree a move over the next couple of days.
Sturridge has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield as Reds boss Brendan Rodgers looks to sign at least one striker and it looks as though a deal is finally set to happen.
Chelsea's interim boss Rafa Benitez hinted the player could be on the move in the transfer window after refusing to rule out his sale and now reports claim Sturridge will arrive on Merseyside today to open talks.
Neither club is confirming or denying the reports but it is thought a fee in the region of £12million has been agreed between the two clubs and the player now just needs to agree terms and pass a medical.
Sturridge has become frustrated at Stamford Bridge and is keen to link up with Liverpool so his wage demands should not be a problem and neither should the medical.
